one must be a bit crazy in the head to create such a fictional character as Ziltoid, but you must be mental to bring it back into the picture once again - that is what Devin Townsend has just done, extending an adventurous transgalactic journey of his eccentric alien, expressing purely absurdist view of the world, where entire concept is split into two disks: first is 'Sky Blue', continuing logical evolution of Devin's progressive recordings of recent and very early years, gripping with exclusively tight and catchy approach, melancholic edge and overall integrity; and then it comes to real 'Dark Matters' - operatic, character-driven and much more experimental story with quite eclectic outcome, still full of choruses easy to sing along to, and impressive guest vocalists to add some extras, so this charming project is definitely not to be missed!
